Christ Caring for People through People

logo symbolizes that we all are
broken people and that it is only through
the cross of Jesus that we are made
whole. |

Our
Stephen Ministers are here to care!
Caring communication with others is a basic human
need. Stephen Ministers can help meet that need.
If you, or someone your know (with their permission)
need a listening ear, fill out a card and drop
it in the Stephen Ministry box located in all
the entryways. All information will be
kept confidential.
-
Going through a tough time—emotionally
or spiritually?
- Struggling
with a crisis in life?
- Or
simply feeling down?
Consider
letting a Stephen Minister help. A Stephen Minister
is a member of our congregation who is trained
to listen, care, encourage, pray and walk alongside
you during difficult times. It’s confidential,
free, and very helpful.
- Do
you have a friend, neighbor, coworker, or relative
going through a difficult time?
A
Stephen Minister may be able to offer the support
he or she needs.
Our
congregation's
Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide
confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals
in our congregation and community who are experiencing
difficulties in their lives.
To learn more, fill out a card and drop it in
one of the Stephen Ministry boxes located at all
entryways, or talk with your pastor or Stephen
Leaders Mary Ann Drea, Margaret Macemon, or Gail
Templeman.
Is
God calling you to be a Stephen Minister?
God
has given each of us spiritual gifts. If your
gifts include mercy, compassion, faith or encouragement,
prayerfully consider Stephen Ministry, our congregation’s
one-to-one caregiving ministry. A training class
for new Stephen Ministers starts on Monday, August
30. For more information or to request an application,
contact the church office.
