Crosstalk (C.L.C. – Room C7)
This class is for people of all ages.
No reason to be concerned about advance preparation
or falling behind on a lesson, just bring your
Bible and join us! You can join in at any time.
This fall the class will focus on an A to Z
topical study that looks at how topics relate
to our spiritual journey as individuals, church,
and community. Jeanne Hathcock leads this group.
Discoverers
(C.L.C. - Room C3, Conference Room)
Liberal and Conservative, Conventional and Pioneering,
Mainstream and Experimental - Discoverers is
a class for all ages, whether 18 or 80! Join
us on a path of personal spiritual growth as
we study Rev. Trevor Hudson’s book, “Journey
of the Spirit: Meditations for the Spiritual
Seeker.” John Hathcock helps members examine
the essentials of the Christian walk.
Messengers
(C.L.C. - Room C1, Parlor)
The Messengers class consists of what we call
Experienced Learners - claiming a lot of knowledge
and wisdom. The class is very relaxed with a
lot of discussion sharing thoughts, opinions,
and feelings. In the fall we will be following
the lectionary scriptures. No advance preparation
required, just bring a Bible and open mind.
Dave Morgan leads this class.
Sojourners
(C.L.C. - Room C6)
As fellow travelers on the journey toward a
deeper understanding of Christ’s call
on our lives, the Sojourners Sunday School class
welcomes all ages, stages and backgrounds; singles
and couples, newlyweds (or still looking) and
retirees, baby Christians and old pros. Applying
Christ’s teachings to today’s issues
is the primary focus of study. A “lively”
discussion is inevitable. Join us as we study
the book, “The Me I Want to Be”
by John Ortberg. This class resumes Aug. 29th
and is led by Nancy Poe.
Women
in Transition (C.L.C.-Room C8, Bridal Room)
Women on a journey, transforming their lives
to be more like Christ as we grow spiritually
and become stronger Christians. This group of
women range from daughters, wives, mothers to
grandmothers. This group prays for one another,
explores and discusses scripture and finds practical
guidelines that relate to the topics studied.
This fall the study will be “How to Slay
Your Giants” by Nell Mahoney.
