About Us

Church of The Good Shepherd is a caring, accepting, and diverse congregation. As United Methodists, we strive to be gracious in our relationships with others. If you want to be a part of a gracious and friendly church, if you want a group to grow spiritually, come and join with us in our faith journey.   Pastor Jeff Burress

Worship Opportunities —

We currently have three worship opportunities each Sunday. We offer two Worship Services that are more traditional in nature, one at 8:30 for those who get around early, and one at 11:00. Both of these services are held in the Sanctuary located at the northwest corner of the building complex. We also offer a worship experience that is more contemporary in nature while keeping true to our United Methodist roots. This service is held at 11:00 in the Christian Life Center located at the southeast corner of the building complex. Since worshipping God is a main objective of the Church, we have carefully staffed leadership to lead these worship services so they are excellent and meaningful.

Sunday School —

We have put a renewed emphasis on education. We have Sunday School classes for every family member. Our Sunday School begins at 9:45, so you can attend a class regardless of which worship service you choose. Our adult classes are diverse and you can find a place to belong. We place a high priority on our children and youth classes, as you can see even by walking by the classrooms. There is an excellent class for every age and we staff a nursery for the Sunday School hour and all Worship services.

Our Mission: “People of God learning to follow Jesus, inviting others to join the journey.
