Wed. April 2nd Meeting

The Koinonia Circle (that's us!!!) will meet at the church Wed. April 2nd at 11 AM for  our tour of the Neighborhood Services Organization.  We will try to leave right at 11 in order to be at NSO by 11:30.   It has all  been set up with the director, Stacey Ninness.  We want to get a visual of the ministry there and get a better idea of the needs that our UMW group can help fill.  We will be taking the church van ( Cathy Childers will be our driver) and we plan to eat lunch in the city after our tour. So, bring money along for lunch.  We plan to be back to the church between 1:30 & 2 PM. 

If you have any items to donate to NSO bring them along:  Baby items, crib sheets, laundry soap & dryer sheets, bath & kitchen towels(all sizes) are needed, just to name a few.  These are for their Transitional Living Programs. The items do not have to be new, but clean and not too worn. 

Wed. May 7th Meeting

Our May meeting will be at the church.  We will be watching the video series "Healing the Angry Heart".  Everyone seemed to enjoy the starting of the video series with the author, Lisa Bevere.  She is very interesting and funny in her presentation.  The roll call item for May will be decided on after we visit NSO on Wed.  We will have a salad & dessert luncheon theme for our May meeting.
