Discoverers

Liberal and Conservative, Conventional and Pioneering, Mainstream and Experimental --- Discoverers is a class
for all ages, whether 18 or 80. Introduce yourself to the “Truth of the Cross” as we talk about the book No Wonder
they Call Him Savior by author Max Lucado. John Hathcock helps members examine the essentials of Christian faith.

Messengers

(Christian Life Center – Room C1, Parlor)

The Messengers class consists of what we call Experienced Learners. We claim a lot of knowledge and wisdom.
The class is very relaxed with a lot of discussion. We share a lot of thoughts, opinions, and feelings. This class is being led
by Dr. Peter Pierro and David Morgan.

Women in Transition

(Christian Life Center-Room C8, Bridal Room)

Women on a journey, transforming their lives to be more like Christ as we grow spiritually and become better
Christians. This group of women range from daughters, wives, mothers to grandmothers. This group prays for one
another, explores and discusses scripture, and finds practical guidelines that relate to the topics studies. No advance preparation
is needed; just bring a Bible and join us!

Sojourners

(Christian Life Center – Room C4, Library)

As fellow travelers on the journey toward a deeper understanding of Christ’s call on our lives, the Sojourners
Sunday School class welcomes all ages, stages, and backgrounds; singles and couples, newlyweds (or still looking),

retirees, baby Christians and old pros. We study a variety of topics, primarily on applying Christ’s teachings to today’s
issues. Studies range from books to short studies to multi-media curriculum. A lively discussion is inevitable. We
strongly agree with Charles Wesley, who recognized the right of Christians to disagree, “As to all opinions that do
not strike at the root of Christianity, we think and let think.” We’d love to have you come “think” with us.

College Age and Young Adult Class

Have you ever wondered what the United Methodists believe about global warming, abortion, homosexuality,
politics, and religion or social problems? If so, come and join this class for discussion on our beliefs, which we call
the Social Principles. This is a discussion-oriented class taught by Pastor Dawn Richards and Gary Reed.
